What time does the event start?
September 11th, 2011 at 8:46 am, participants will gather together at a pre-designated location, where we will receive a blessing for the day and observe a moment of silence in honor of all those who were lost on that day. Following the moment of silence we will give a brief speech about the event and route and announce the order teams will climb. At 9:02 a local Pipes and Drums band will play “Amazing Grace” and the climb will begin.
